Warehouse Operative

03:30 – 08:30 Tuesday to Friday and 04:30 – 08:30 Saturday

The role involves sorting parcels and assisting drivers loading and unloading vans. In addition you will be looking after our customers, picking and packing their good and products for delivery.

Operations Support Manager PM

APC Manchester have an exciting new role for a Pm Operations Support Manager.

We are looking for an experienced ,energetic, highly motivated, team player who wants to work in a small friendly environment and contribute to the overall performance and success of the depot.

You will have a proven experience in the industry and the ability to lead and support your colleagues.

Working as part of a team together to achieve the excellent customer service we offer to our customers by ensuring a smooth operation on the pm shift in a cost effective and productive manner.

Responsibilities of the Pm Operations Support Manager

• Responsible for ensuring that service is in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicator’s
• Ensure all Customer expectations are achieved.
• Support the Pm shift to ensure all customer collections are allocated to drivers, driver phone calls and issues are dealt with efficiently
• Assist with the management of the warehouse operation for the shift ensuring the effective and accurate sortation of parcels
• Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with company policies in a safe and proactive manner
• Managing costs and performance of the shift
• Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service
• Assisting with phone calls from internal and external customers
• Driver debrief including vehicle checks
• Identify,communicate and highlight areas for improvement
• Provide a shift summary and handover for the morning shift
• Personal Specifications of the Pm Operations Support Manager
• Previous experience in the parcel,logistics or distribution industry would be beneficial
• Ambition to develop your leadership skills
• Flexible and able to work under pressure
• IT literate
• Knowledge of Manchester post code areas an advantage

This will be a full time position working Monday – Friday 11:00 hrs until 19:00 hrs
