Multi Drop Van Driver

APC Overnight is the UK’s largest independent delivery network, with more than 100 locations nationwide – come and join our local Manchester Depot delivery team!

We are looking to recruit a number of Multi Drop Drivers to join our driver team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of parcels in your allocated delivery route area. We will provide you with a vehicle and give full training on our driver handheld device. A typical day involves arriving at the depot, sorting your delivery parcels into your route, performing your vehicle and pre-departure checks then starting your deliveries. Collections from customers also happen throughout the day and are then brought back to the depot for unload and debrief.

Being a member of our driver team requires great customer service skills along with professionalism, approachability and a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will have a full clean driving licence. You must be over the age of 25 due to insurance cover on our vehicles. Knowledge of Manchester and the surrounding area and a positive can-do attitude are ideal.

Hours of work will be Tuesday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Saturdays 7am to 4pm with a total of 45 hours per week. Flexibility is essential as from time to time there will be the requirement to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness and during peak trading periods.

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)
